Upcoming Events. . .

  • Just announced (in 2007 that is)....the fifth bi-annual gathering of all descendants of Mary C Stevens, John, Gordon and Cyndie's maternal grandmother, will be held in the fall of '07 hopefully on the Island of Bermuda.  Cyndie will be our hostess.

Yeah...Yeah...Yeah...that was a few years ago.  Cyndie had all good intentions, but it just hasn't worked out yet.  We'll keep you all posted.

    The Clan gathered every two years starting in 1999, for a family reunion. In Aug '05 we met in Trumbull CT where Betsey and Ken Von Holtz were the hosts.  In June '03, relatives who had not seen each other since August '01 at Sherry & Bob Morgan's in Fairfield CT got together at John & Carol Wilmot's in Warwick for a day of Shish Kabob.  In '99 the first affair was at Gordon & Marilyn's in Warwick, where a Clambake was enjoyed by all.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

 

Other News. . .

  • In April, 2003, Gordon, Marilyn and Sarah flew to Mexico to visit Tad (Gordon Jr.) and his family. After four days in Tad's hometown of Aguascalientes, all eight of them rented a BIG van, and drove west, through the city of Guadalajara, and on to the Pacific coast. In Puerto Vallarta, they rented a four bedroom Condo (found on the internet), and spent a great week together. 
  • In July, 2003, Tad, his wife Brenna, and their children Danny, Josiah, and Morgan, came to Rhode Island for a month, staying at Sarah's house. It was really great to have Gordon's whole family together for the first time in many years. Tad and Brenna lived in Costa Rica for five years, then in Mexico for the past six years.

  • In August, 2003, John, Carol, Gordon and Marilyn went to Europe for a couple of weeks, cruising around the British Isles with Princess Cruises. They visited England, Wales, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, Belgium and France. We're all travel experts now, and our advice is free to all Wilmots and Stevens'

  • In 2004, John's youngest son Jeff and Gordon's youngest daughter Sarah, both got married.  Not to each other though.  Click on the "Latest News" tab to learn more.

Family History. . .

  • This site has been put together by the three children of Marion Tower ("Tick") Wilmot and Martha Stevens Wilmot. These children are John S Wilmot, Gordon T Wilmot and Lucinda Wilmot.
